Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 31, 2026
Storm Manage respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Storm Manage collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use this website, contact us, or ask us about modular underground stormwater management solutions.
Website operator and privacy contact
This website operates under the Storm Manage brand. References to “Storm Manage,” “we,” “us” and “our” in this policy mean the operator of this website and the team that handles enquiries submitted through it. You can contact our privacy contact at info@stormmanage.com or at Yantian District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. If a quotation, order or contract identifies a separate contracting entity, that entity may also be responsible for records connected with that transaction.
Data we collect
When you submit an enquiry or project brief, we may collect your name, business email address, phone number or WhatsApp number, message content, and the information you choose to provide about your project. Project information can include required storage volume, available footprint, load and cover requirements, application, project location, drawings, specifications and other site constraints.
When you use the website, our technical providers process device and browser information, IP address, requested pages, referring page, date and time of access, diagnostic information, and server or CDN security logs. Cloudflare provides content-delivery and security services and sets a short-lived __cf_bm security cookie to help distinguish legitimate traffic from automated or abusive activity.
The phone-number field requests an IP-derived country result from IPinfo so that it can present an appropriate country calling code. This sends the visitor’s IP address to that provider and returns an inferred country. The website also requests the Mulish font from Google Fonts. Gravatar receives a request when a page displays an author avatar. These providers can receive technical data such as IP address, browser information and the requested resource.
Please do not submit passwords, government identification numbers, payment-card details, sensitive personal data, or confidential third-party information that is not necessary for your enquiry.
How we use data and our lawful bases
We use enquiry and project data to respond to requests, assess product and system suitability, prepare discussions, quotations or supply arrangements, communicate about an ongoing business relationship, and maintain records of those interactions. Where applicable, these activities are based on steps taken at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, or our legitimate interests in operating and developing our B2B business.
We use technical logs and Cloudflare security technologies to operate the site, prevent fraud or abuse, troubleshoot faults and protect our systems. We use IP-derived country information to provide the phone-field country-code feature. Depending on applicable law and how a technology is classified, these activities may rely on our legitimate interests in website security and reliable service delivery or may require consent.
We may also process data when necessary to comply with legal obligations, establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or with your consent where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out before withdrawal.
Cookies and similar technologies
As of the effective date, we have not identified advertising or analytics cookies intentionally configured on this website. Cloudflare’s short-lived security cookie and the functional third-party requests described above are still used. Website technologies can change when the theme, plugins, forms, CDN rules or embedded services change; this policy will be updated when our material practices change.
Recipients and processors
Enquiry entries are handled in this website’s WordPress database using the Fluent Forms software. Our hosting and server providers may store or transmit those entries, and our email providers may process their contents when we receive or answer an enquiry. Other providers receive the more limited technical data described above: Cloudflare provides CDN and security services, IPinfo receives an IP address for the phone-field country lookup, Google Fonts receives a font request, and Gravatar receives a request when an author avatar is displayed. These providers process data under their own terms or, where applicable, on our instructions. We may also disclose data to professional advisers, insurers, authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety or property.
International transfers
Storm Manage operates from China. If you are outside China and submit an enquiry, the information you send will be transmitted to or accessible by our team in China. Our providers may also process technical or enquiry data in other countries. Data-protection laws in those countries may differ from those where you live. You may contact us before submitting information if you need further details about the processing locations or transfer arrangements relevant to your enquiry.
Retention
We retain personal data for periods determined by the purpose of the record and our legal or operational needs. Enquiry and project records may be kept while we respond, manage a commercial relationship, address follow-up questions, or meet accounting, legal, tax and dispute-resolution requirements. Technical and security records may be kept for security, diagnostics and service operation. Backups and email copies may follow separate deletion cycles. Information may be retained longer where law, a legal claim or a regulatory obligation requires it.
Your rights
Depending on where you are located and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to the processing of your personal data; to request portability; to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; and to complain to a relevant data-protection authority. These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal conditions and exceptions. To make a request, contact us at info@stormmanage.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Security
We take administrative and technical steps designed to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. These include HTTPS transport, access-controlled WordPress administration and website security filtering. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
Our website and B2B services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
Third-party links
This website may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and Storm Manage is not responsible for their content or practices. Please review the privacy policy of each third-party service before providing personal data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, services or legal requirements. We will post the updated version on this website and revise the effective date when appropriate.
