Podium Deck Depth Fit Checker

Bulk geocellular modules are 400 mm or 500 mm deep. A deck drainage layer is measured in tens of millimetres. This tool tells you, from your available build-up, whether a StormGrid module belongs in that zone at all — and it will happily tell you it does not.

Slab top to finished level, excluding the waterproofing and protection layers themselves.
Philadelphia Water Department requires a minimum 100 mm growing medium on extensive green roofs; US EPA describes 50–100 mm.

Verdict

Does not fit
Use a shallow drainage cell, not a bulk module
Crates are not banned from decks. Blue-roof storage sits on terraces, high-rise roofs and low-podium installations routinely, at 100–150 mm of surface ponding, once structure, waterproofing and services are checked (Philadelphia Water Department). What a bulk module cannot do is replace a 20–165 mm deck drainage layer. Structural capacity of the slab is a separate question this tool does not answer.
